Our Metro Focus feature!

The school had a lot of visitors this past fall! We ended up having two film crews visit, the team from Metro Focus with PBS and our own Akwesasne TV crew. MetroFocus is an award-winning television and multi-platform news magazine focusing on the New York area. Jenna and her wonderful crew spent some time with the students as well as Executive Director of the Friends of the Akwesasne Freedom School Elvera Sargent and Akwesasne Freedom School Manager Kanerahtens Skidders for more insight on the work we do.
